OPT OUT OF TARGETED ADVERTISING, “SALE,” “SHARING” & USE OF SENSITIVE INFORMATION

Some activities described in our Advertising Platform Privacy Policy, including Automotive Internet Media, Inc.’s use and disclosure of User Information and our clients’ use of our technology to buy and sell advertising inventory, may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under applicable U.S. privacy laws.

In addition, some of our activities may involve the use of sensitive personal information in ways that give you the right to limit or opt out under applicable law.

If you wish to opt out of these activities, please follow the instructions below.

Because devices use different identifiers, opt-outs must be completed separately for each browser and each device.

Web Browsers

To opt out of targeted advertising on your browser:

Enable a recognized global privacy control (such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC)) in your browser

When you opt out, we will place a cookie on your device to remember your preference.

Important: If you switch browsers or devices, or clear your cookies, you will need to opt out again.

Mobile Devices

Your mobile device may allow you to limit or opt out of targeted advertising.

For example:

    • iOS devices: Limit Ad Tracking / App Tracking Transparency settings

    • Android devices: Advertising ID controls

Refer to your device settings or manufacturer instructions for details.

Connected Televisions

Internet-connected TVs (such as smart TVs or streaming devices) may provide options to limit targeted advertising.

To adjust your preferences:

    • Visit your device’s settings menu

    • Look for privacy or advertising settings

HOW TO REQUEST ACCESS, CORRECTION, OR DELETION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:

    • Access personal information we hold about you

    • Request correction

    • Request deletion

As explained in our Advertising Platform Privacy Policy, we do not collect information that directly identifies you. Instead, we collect digital identifiers associated with your device or browser (“Digital Identifiers”).

To process your request, we require:

    • Your Digital Identifier(s)

    • Supporting information (e.g., screenshot or device details)

This helps us:

    • Locate relevant data

    • Verify your request

We will use this information only to process your privacy request.

How to Find Cookies in Your Browser

In most browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari):

    • Open a website where cookies are set

    • Open Developer Tools

       

        • Press F12 or Ctrl+Shift+I (Windows)

        • Or Cmd+Option+I (Mac)

    • Go to the Application or Storage tab

    • Select Cookies

    • Choose the website domain

    • Locate the cookie names listed above

    • The value displayed is your identifier

Mobile Devices & Other Connected Devices

Mobile devices generate an Advertising Identifier used for advertising purposes.

    • On iOS: called IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers)

    • On Android: called Advertising ID

Refer to your device manufacturer’s instructions to locate or reset your identifier.
